About Instagram’s New Reel Feature

Throughout 2020, Instagram has been adding new updates to their platform. They have added Instagram Shop, Facebook Pay, commerce eligibility for influencers, new fundraising options, and a new reel feature. These tools are particularly effective for B2C companies, personal brands and product facing Ecommerce:

Reel Feature

Instagram’s new reel feature is very similar to the layout of TikTok.  The update lets users create and discover 15 second short videos for entertainment.  The videos can be created using audio, effects and other creative tools.  Users can share reels with followers on their feed or with the public as long as they are a public account. 

Instagram for Business

Instagram has been making it easier and easier for businesses to sell their products. Businesses now have the opportunity to sell products from clothing and accessories to food ordering and gift card purchases.
